In 2019 tourism was worth £9 Billion for Manchester, today it’s worth about £3 Billion. As somewhat of a stimulus, Marketing Manchester (Consider them the tourist board) have partnered up with a selection of significant hotels in Manchester to offer a programme called “Have a night on us”. It’s a simple one really book 3 nights, pay for 2 with no end date in sight.

Summary
No hyper inflated prices or anything to try and make it look like a deal, these hotels just want your business. You’ll naturally pay a little more for weekend stays should you want t make it a long weekend but if you go during the week, it’s rediculously cheap!
It’s worth noting that currently there’s an AmEx offer for Gold and Platinum cardholders where if you spend over £200 on a stay at The Edwardian Manchester, you’ll get £50 back as a statement credit.
If you do make a booking I’d reccomend The Oast House for a few drinks and Fazenda Rodizio for a bite to eat.
