Will keep it short as it’s a blinder of a deal and you’ll want to get booking ASAP! As the title suggests, Iberia has a sale on. You have to start in Madrid but that’s an easy one, you can have a read on why fly to another country to start a journey here. If like me you have 0 Avios in your Iberia account, fear not, it only takes a few minutes to transfer them from your BA account.
As you can see, if you were to book a return from London in business class with British Airways for May to Los Angeles, you’d be forking out 250,000 Avios and £1,200+.
For the same dates departing Madrid in business class, you’d be paying 85,000 Avios and £325~. Fag packet maths you’re saving almost a grand and 165,000 Avios.
Need to know
Firstly this is for those of you who have had an Iberia account set up before today. Secondly, it’s a little on the sketch but you have to change your address to Spain to benefit from the deal.
You’ll need to book by December 23rd and the dates you can travel are from January 15th to June 15th 2021. March 25th until April 12th is blocked off but there’s a lot to choose from.
