Without a shadow of a doubt the easiest hotel loyalty program to use and make use of. Is it the best? well, it’s certainly is very handy for those who don’t want to be tied into a certain chain.
How does it all work?
First, you’ll want to sign up here. It’s free to do and they don’t spam you with a bunch of, well, spam.
Next simply search for where you want to go and what dates, like any other website. So far, so simple
When you find a hotel you like the look of simply click through and see if it says whether or not you’ll collect stamps, chances are it will.
When you go through to booking your chosen hotel it will show you towards the top a little stamp table with 10 squares like at your favourite coffee shop and how many nights your stay will earn.
What do you earn?
10% ish. Let’s say you book a hotel room for 1 night and pay £100, £95 of that is for the room, the other £5 (5%) is tax. So your 1 stamp is worth £9.50 (10% of the £95 room fee). If you book 10 nights in the same room you will instantly fill your stamp page and will have a voucher worth £95 to spend.
If you stay at a bunch of different places or pay different rates, it all averages out over 10 stamps as you can see above.
Redeeming Nights.
The same process, find a hotel you want to book click on it, scroll down and you should see similar to the above. In blue it clearly shows you can use redeem your night against the stay. In red it shows that that specific room can not have nights redeemed against it, why? who knows?
Silver or Gold

Things to know
- A lot of the nice hotel chains don’t allow you to redeem your free nights at their properties.
- You must keep your account active at least once every 12 months, so collect a stamp or redeem a night. Failing to do so will lose all stamps.
- Hotels.com often aren’t the cheapest to book through. They offer a price guarantee but that’s useless as 9 times out of 10 they REJECT genuine price matches.
